Prof.Dr.Ahmet M.KILIÇOĞLU

Prof.Dr.Ahmet M.KILIÇOĞLU graduated from Ankara University - Faculty of Law as an honor student in 1971. He was sent to Bern University - Faculty of Law (Switzerland) with a scholarship from 1976 to 1979. He became a professor in 1988. He is the author of various books related to the Code of Obligations, "Intellectual Property", Law of Persons, Family Law, Inheritance Law and Law of Property.

He worked as a full time lecturer in Ankara University - Faculty of Law till 1987. As of 1987, he started to work as an attorney at law and hence continued his studies in the Faculty of Law only part-time. 'He is currently the chief of the Chair of Private Law in Ankara University - Faculty of Law."  

He was a "Counselor at Law" at the "Turkish Ministry of Justice" during the time 1994-1998 and 2000-2002. He participated in the Commission, that was constituted by Turkish Republic - Ministry of Justice and aimed to prepare and realize the "New Civil Code", both as a President and a member.

Prof.Dr. Ahmet M. Kılıçoğlu also spent important efforts so as to provide the implementation and interpretation of the new Civil Code by attending various Conferences and television programs in Turkey. With respect to the introduction of the New Civil Code and after the entrance of the concerned code in to force, he also participated in many conferences as a lecturer held in Turkey and in many other foreign countries.

He is still invited to Television Programs so as to give lectures about Intellectual Property Rights (copyrights, trademarks, patents, etc.) Civil Code, Unfair Competition,  etc.

He wrote 20 books and over 70 articles at various times. He is still selected by the courts as an expert witness on account of his knowledge and skills. And he also works as an arbitrator on very important cases.

He knows both written and spoken German at an advanced level and French at a medium level. He is also our firm’s senior partner.

A.Onur KABADAYI

Mr.A.Onur KABADAYI graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1990 and has been actively working as an attorney at law since 1991. He is a member of Ankara Bar and Turkish Bar Association.

He mostly focused on and has a profound knowledge and experince regarding litigation and enforcement matters. He is selected by Specialized Courts as an expert witness related to Intellectual Property matters on account of his knowledge and skills.

He acts as a registered patent and industrial design attorney before Turkish Patent Institute on behalf of our firm's clients and partners.

He is also an associate partner of our firm.

N.Berkay KIRCI

Attorney at Law
Trademark, Industrial Design and Patent Attorney

Mr.N.Berkay KIRCI gratuated from faculty of Law in 2001.

He mostly focused his studies on intellectual property matters and is actively working as an attorney at law especially in Intellectual Property matters within competent courts and acts as a registered trademark, industrial design and patent attorney before Turkish Patent Institute on behalf of our firm's clients and partners. 

- He attended and obtained some certificates from Institutions such as:

Certificate: “Legal English for Lawyers Certificate Programme” conducted by "Ankara University Faculty of Law – Research Institute of Banking and Commercial Law" between the years 2000– 2001.
 
Certificate: “Intellectual Property Rights National and International Practices” conducted by "Ankara University Faculty of Law – Research and Practice Center of Intellectual Property Rights" in 2002.
 
Certificate: “General Course on Intellectual Property” conducted by "World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) – Worldwide Academy" in 2002.

He is currently pursuing his "Master of Science" studies in "Middle East Technical University (METU)" – "Science and Technology Policy Studies".

He has many researches, articles and translations focusing on industrial property matters among which some of them has been published. He is also invited to conferences and other related activities as a key note speaker so as to submit presentations in intellectual property (especially industrial property) matters.  
He is also a member of Ankara Bar, Turkish Bar Association and International Bar Association.

He knows both written and spoken English at an advanced level and is also an associate partner of our firm.
